The Shure SE315 is a noise isolating, in-ear monitor, based on 1 high definition balanced armature driver. The SE315 is designed as a stage monitor for professional musicians, and offers extremely strong passive noise isolation with a discreet and comfortable fit. The SE315 is bundled with a host of foam and silicone eartips to provide the perfect fit. The included detachable MMCX cable contains a universal remote that works with both Android and iOS, and also contains a microphone for calling. Also included is a carrying pouch, so that earphones can be safely tucked away when not in use.
The SE315 can be described as having a mellow, natural sound signature, with an overall warmth and some high frequency roll-off. The sound is similar to the warm sound of the SE215, but with greater clarity and definition. The solid but not excessive bass tone makes the SE315 good for casual listening. High frequency treble is relaxed, with no sibilance, allowing vocals to shine. The SE315 is therefore great for all genres, and is especially good for vocal heavy tracks due to it’s intimacy. For a more energetic sound signature, consider the iBasso IT01S, or if you want a stage monitor with more high frequency detail and accuracy, the SE425 or Westone UM Pro 20 are good upgrades.
