The Grado GR8e, like it’s big brother the GR10e, distills the Grado house sound into a portable and light IEM, with crisp treble and intimate mids. The Grado GR8e is a very small and portable IEM, perfect to carry in a pocket and pull out for commutes or travel. The light, 9 grams heavy construction allows the GR8es to fade into the background as you enjoy your music. The GR8s are packaged with extra ear tips to ensure a perfect fit.
Like their full sized headphones, the sound signature of the GR8es is somewhat bright, with a touch of bass. The GR8e retains an intimate midrange, with vocals presented with vibrant detail. The outcome is a well rounded earphone perfect for genres such as jazz or metal, with great natural instrument timbre. The GR8e’s cable is terminated in a standard 3.5mm mini-plug, perfect for portable devices.
