Listening to the PHöNIX is an unparalleled experience of stately power and elegant resolution. Tight and bottomless lows are giving a solid ground to gently natural mids, which are seamlessly transitioning to phenomenal rich highs.

TECHNICAL IDEA
The legendary ERLKöNIG left the stage a while ago. Many praised the outstanding sound and imaging of this exceptional product. VE gained massively positive feedback, nevertheless the weight of the shell and the price was always a negative factor for some. Based on this VE developed a new shell design and at the same time improved the driver configuration of the ERLKöNIG engine. The PHöNIX is not just a cosmetic refresh of the ERLKöNIG - it’s a transformation. Sound quality was improved, especially in the high frequencies, for a more open and airy experience. Changes were done cautiously, with an awareness of what has earnt ERLKöNIG many fans.

THE DESIGN
The idea was to create an elegant design, combining materials previously unused by Vision Ears. Each individual shell is meticulously machined from pristine mono blocks of carbon fibre. Aerospace-grade CNC machines are employed, using aerospace-grade carbon fibre material. Every carbon block has an individual structure, so that each shell is unique as a fingerprint. The faceplate is a composition of three materials and layers. The carrier faceplate is made of CNC machined anodized aluminium. Under beautiful domed sapphire glass you can see a dark red chrome layer, prominently wearing the golden PHöNIX logo.

The PHöNIX is available with a golden or with a matte black carrier faceplate.

THE CASE
With the PHöNIX comes an all new Premium Line case made of genuine leather. The smart interior design makes it easy to store your precious Premium Line In-Ears without risking them to collide with each other during transport. The cable is neatly stored under an elegant strap. A perfect gadget for your earphone with the aesthetics of an exclusive watch case.

A separate genuine leather key strap gives you the opportunity to attach the leather case securely on your bag when you are on the go.

GENERAL
Ever since Vision Ears was founded, their aim was to achieve a perfect symbiosis of great sound and precise craftsmanship. Creating perfect sound is VE's passion – and Ve's customers expect the highest quality. All of VE's products are designed and built in Cologne, Germany.

CUSTOM MADE CABLE
The PHöNIX comes with a new developed premium 4 wire 23 AWG silver-gold alloy and OCC copper-litz cable. The Phonix now comes with a balanced 4.4mm connector as standard.

LOWS
Four Balanced Armature drivers empower the lows to unleash their unstrained energy. For all who are familiar with the settings of the ERLKöNIG, position 2 is comparable with the new setup of the PHöNIX bass unit. The lows are well controlled, with a striking and intensive impact. The depth and sub-bass feeling is akin to that of a dynamic driver, giving the overall sound a stunning, beautifully layered and solid foundation.

MIDS
The assembly of four Balanced Armature drivers impressively showcase how vivid and natural this technology can sound when perfectly implemented. Vision Ears is widely known to give great attention to the mid presentation, with the PHöNIX VE creating a captivating and staggering mid-range, full of vivid details and an unparalleled naturalness.

MID-HIGHS
The highs of the PHöNIX are powered by four BA drivers, giving the upper range of the frequencies a lustrous and harmonic imaging. The richness of details is breathtakingly uncompromising. The highs unfold with a natural timbre, slightly sparkling and natural at all times.

SUPER-TWEATER
The all new Super-Tweeter of the PHöNIX gives an extra airiness to the sound. The super tweeter unveils the barely perceptible with ease and refines the highs with a stunning openness.

SOUND IN GENERAL
The PHöNIX has been developed so that you can experience music like never before. Equipped with 13 balanced armature Drivers, all co-ordinated by a passive 5-way crossover to produce an outstanding sound with staggering precision and clarity.
