Vision Ears EXT Hybrid IEM (2.5mm / 4.4mm)

Following on from the Elysium, the EXT (Elysium Extended) delivers richer bass and effortless highs thanks to the combination of a unique semi-open design, re-tuned dynamic drivers for rich lows and midrange, as well as four electrostatic drivers for breathtaking high frequency detail.

With a 9.2mm dynamic driver for the lows, set within a second generation High Precision Leveling Chamber, as well as a 6mm midrange dynamic driver, the EXT delivers a rich low end and vocal performance. Both dynamic drivers feature a Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) surround. This technique of making the surround allows the driver to perform with a very low THD (Total Harmonic Distortion). The Al-Mg Alloy diaphragms of these drivers are light but stiff, which makes the performance surprisingly fast, very deep and precise.

Two second generation Knowles dual-EST units, for a total of 4 electrostatic transducers per ear, deliver astounding high frequency extension. 

The end of this result is a sound that is at once dynamic and exciting, with tightly controlled and visceral bass, with distinctive and brilliant highs.  

All of this technology set within a brilliant design that features a purple machined faceplate and a CNC milled ‘X’ cut-out. The cut-out is actually a vent which allows for the dynamic driver to breathe, similar in concept to an open headphone, and an acoustic mesh protects the internal components. The EXT comes with a matching purple aluminium case to complete the look.

The EXT comes with a premium 8 wire silver plated copper 28AWG cable with a balanced 2.5mm connector as  standard. With the all new VE Adapter you can simply change the termination from 2.5mm to 4.4mm. This premium adapter comes with a gold-plated phosphor bronze conductor and an audio grade POM insulation.
