Questyle CAS192D: Digital to Analogue Converter
Questyle CAS192D comes as the world’s first USB DAC that support true DSD mode. It is upgraded from Questyle’s previous flagship model and designed to process DSD files in their native format without conversion to PCM.
True DSD
To provide True DSD, the CAS192D accepts the DSD bit-stream directly from your computer, bypassing your computer’s audio processing and digital volume control as well as the Questyle Audio CAS192D’s digital filters. It achieves this without requiring expensive, difficult to install, proprietary connectors.
IIR Digital Filter
Most of the DACs use FIR digital filters, but as per studies, our ears are very sensitive to the pre-ring that FIR digital filters add to the impulse wave, making the music sound incoherent and unnatural. The CAS192D comes with the more advanced IIR digital filter, which eliminates the pre-ring from the impulse wave and produces a more natural sound.
First Class Sound Performance
With a 3x clock USB asynchronous transmission structure, the Questyle Audio CAS192D ensures a more accurate operation. For accurate sound, a three-clock circuit is integrated with FIFO asynchronous architecture and three voltage-stabilized power stages, and three corresponding level clocks individually control multiples of 44.1kHz, 48kHz and USB signal transmission.
