HiBy R2 GEN II

The HiBy R2 GEN II now features a compact and rounded design, with glass front and back - as well as a streamlined and simplified UI for easy menu navigation. The R2 is renewed and ready for an all-new music experience! 

The ESS ES9219C DAC on the R2 GEN II supports native DSD256, PCM 32bit / 384kHz, opening the way to Hi-Res HiFi audio quality!

HiBy R2 GEN II has both Hi-Res and Hi-Res wireless certification for high resolution sound via wired or wired connections with compatible devices.

HiBy R2 GEN II supports a wide array of music formats, including mp3, wav, ape, flac, alac, dsf, dff, iso, cue, wma, ogg, aac, opus, aiff etc.

MQA 8x unfolding of MQA files is also supported.

HiByOS is HiBy’s in-house developed operating system targeted towards HiFi audio devices, optimised for audio processing from the ground up. HiByOS features the following functions:

MSEB is HiBy’s in-house developed audio processor, designed to bring out what audiophiles desire the most in their music, by simply adjusting the sliders described in intuitive audio character terms - e.g. warm, thick, vocal-forward sound with low sibilance, fast impulse response and crisp airiness by dialing in the temperature slider, note thickness slider, voice slider, sibilance slider, impulse response slider and air sliders, among others!

Industry-leading remote control functionality: control playback, volume and manage playlists of the R2 on the big screen of your smartphone via the HiByMusic app for Android and iPhone!

With the efficient CPU and OS, the slim 1000mAh battery onboard powers the R2 for 15 hours continuous play and 20 days standby!

OTA firmware updates, WiFi music transfer, AirPlay and DLNA all supported.
