It all started in 2014 with three music enthusiasts in a school clubroom in Singapore. Armed with the knowledge gained from their studies, the team shared a common goal: to create an affordable, end-game listening system that would allow them to enjoy their favourite tunes 'the way the artist intended’. With only small funds and rudimentary knowledge of audio, Kotori started out by making audio cables for IEMs and headphones, while gradually chipping in to expand their arsenal of tools and equipment, which would eventually allow them to create IEMs. Leveraging a background in aeronautical engineering, Kotori applied principles of precision, durability, and innovation to design robust and reliable earphones. This fusion of artistry and engineering has defined the unique identity of Kotori Audio, setting them apart from the rest in their pursuit of audio excellence.
