It is powered by a 3200 mAh lithium-ion battery that gives you hours of pure and natural sound.
Design
The heart of DA10 is the Burr-Brown PCM-1795 32-bit high resolution DAC chip that provides state-of-the-art digital to analog conversion that can handle multiple sampling frequencies up to 192 kHz and can also decode high resolution 2.8 and 5.6 MHz DSD signals. This powerful chip is housed inside in sturdy aluminum case with a solid aluminum alloy volume nob on the top. The DA10 also comprises Denon’s exclusive AL32 technology for signal filtering, unsampling, upconverting and noise shaping of high resolution digital audio signals. It also comes with an elegant and stylish carrying case with a fold-out design. It has two pouches, one for the amplifier and one for your portable music player. The pouch for the music player has a thin plastic membrane on the front and allows you to control your device without taking it out of the pouch. This case provides protection against rough handling and weather conditions to some extent.
Versatile compatibility
The DA10 from Denon is universally compatible DAC and headphone amplifier and comes with multiple connection cables. The USB-30 pin cable connects with a lot of Apple devices like the iPod, iPad and iPhone and the lightning connector makes it compatible with new generation Apple devices like iPhone 5 and 6 along with iPad Air. The USB-B connector makes it compatible with many digital devices and the 3.5mm analog cable provides easy connection with many leading headphones.
