RECOMMENDATION The Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro and DT 1990 Pro are headphones with a relatively high 250 ohm impedance and a relatively low 96 db/mw sensitivity rating. This means that they require a more power to reach the same listening volume compared with most other headphones. This may stress weaker headphone amplifiers leading to distortion or clipping in the final sound. If you have a USB powered headphone amplifier or audio interface, we recommend having a look at the DT 700 and DT 900 Pro X series instead, as those models are easier to drive. |
Beyerdynamic's flagship open studio headphone, the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO is a comfortable and accurate closed studio headphone designed for hours of mixing and critical listening.
Featuring refined sound quality with Beyerdynamic's high magnetic flux density TESLA drivers, as well as premium metal construction, and an enhanced accessory package that includes a choice of Analytical and Balanced velour earpads, coiled and straight cable options and a premium hard carrying case.
With Made in Germany reliability and accuracy, Beyerdynamic DT series headphones are some of our most popular models for studio applications.
