A little brother to the DSR9BT, the innovative ATH-DSR7BT over-ear headphone replaces the traditional digital-to-analogue (DAC) conversion process to deliver unprecedented sound performance and is built on the foundation of the popular Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 headphone.

A Digital Future for Superior Quality Headphones

The truly impressive ATH-DSR7BT model uses a Trigence Semiconductor Dnote chipset, unlike most other Bluetooth headphones that transform and process the digital signal across several steps. This chip translates the signal into digital pulses that move the voice coil in the driver instead of relying on the digital-to-analog conversion to eliminate the risk of distortion and providing smoother, more natural-sounding audio to its listeners. All this happens because it uses a four-wire voice coil for more precise control and detailed sound.

Comfort & Convenience

Adopting a dual-layer isolation structure in the tough aluminium housing, the ATH-DSR7BT model over-ear headphones offer a high acoustic effect and reduce unnecessary resonance. The earcups and headband are carefully padded with soft memory foam in a light grey leather-like finish for optimum comfort. The deep earcups cover the ears comfortably and avoid them pinching or pressing on the ears too much. This wireless headphone also offers control on the move with easy touch control system on the earcup for playback, pause, volume and answering/ending calls. The trio of lights indicates if the headphone is paired with a device, the connected codec, and the remaining battery life.

It can be easily connected to the computer or any playback device through the USB port that supports the included 2.0m USB cable. It gives a true interpretation of the original recording with support to 24-bit/48kHz over Bluetooth connections and 24-bit/96kHz via USB. It also supports wireless aptX HD, aptX, AAC and SBC codec up to 24-bit/48kHz signals in Bluetooth mode.
