Crafted into even more compact dimensions of just 64 x 32 x 22 mm with an up market metallic case, the iriver T30 weighs in at a mere 27 grams and squeezes a full 20 hours' musical enjoyment out of just one AAA battery. Plenty of imagination went into the T30 series' clever features too: Proud owners will value the built-in real-time clock with an alarm function that gets each day off to a flying start with their favourite music – in all major audio formats and with the superb reproduction quality you would expect of iriver. Furthermore, a direct line-in allows real-time MP3 encoding and the built-in microphone makes recording voice memos an absolute breeze.

The three versions of the iriver T30 feature 256MB, 512 MB and 1 GB of memory. The newcomer may be small on size, but it is definitely big on sound. High-grade earphones, a signal-to-noise ratio of 90 dB/A and a perfectly balanced frequency response offers superb sound delivery. Users can freely adjust the equalizer to get exactly the listening experience they choose. There are even ten preset equalizer options available. Multi-codec playback covers a wide range of formats: The iriver T30 supports WMA, ASF and Ogg Vorbis in addition to MP3. For users who opt for the space-saving WMA or Ogg Vorbis formats, the 1 GB model has room for over 500 tracks.
